Update 6:25- Multiple sources say that the Red Sox are the team that claimed Wagner. The Sox and Mets have until Tuesday to work out a trade.
According to Ken Rosenthal, Billy Wagner has been claimed off waivers.
What that means is the Mets have three days to either trade him, (which is probably going to happen, and for the record I hope they don't)
The second option is trade Wagner to the team that claimed him for nothing, but that team would have to pay the rest of Wagner's salary. (That won't happen)
The third and final option is that the Mets pull him back, and nothing happens; Wagner would stay on the Mets.
