Today at 3:30 Omar Minaya will announce that Tony Bernazard the often PR nightmare has been fired according to Joel Sherman.

All I can say is good. Tony B was like a bad virus that never goes away. After the news broke about Tony B taking off his shirt in the B-Mets clubhouse and threatening to fight the players, it's time to go. It has also been reported that he got in a screaming match with K-Rod on the bus, and screamed at some Mets official behind home plate in the middle of a game. Three negative things in a course of a week. This is the right move, and if any team, whether it's a major league team or the Newark Bears hire's Bernazard they will be making a mistake. I know I'm being harsh, but I wish this man no luck in baseball. He has caused this team more bad than good.
