July 21, 1965: Mets trade Jesse Conder to the Milwaukee Braves for Gary Kolb

July 21, 2008: Jose Reyes collects his 11th triple of the year as the Mets beat the Reds 7-5. Reyes' triple gives him 63 for his career putting him one ahead of Mookie Wilson as the Mets all time leader in triples.
July 21, 1975: Mets' infielder Joe Torre becomes the first major leaguer to ground into four consecutive double plays in one game. Felix Milan was on base with four singles ahead of Torre to make the feat possible.
July 21, 1970: Clay Kirby is pinch hit for by Padres manager Preston Gomez in the eighth inning of a game against the Mets. Kirby had a no hitter going, but was losing 1-0 at Jack Murphy Stadium. The Padres fail to hold the Mets hitless and the Mets win 3-0.
