Breaking News: Brandon Knight will be making the spot start on Saturday against the Cardinals. I just spoke to an SNY official and this is what the person told me. That means the Knight will be taken off the U.S. Olympic team because major leagues cannot participate in the Olympics. Knight is 5-1 with a 1.60 ERA this season with AAA. Knight has previously played with the Yankees for a few games in 2001 and 2002. Well just a couple of months ago Knight was planning to retire, but instead joined an independent league, then signed a minor league contract with the Mets, now will be making a start in the majors. Not bad, not bad at all.
